Terms of Service

1. Parties

These Terms govern your use of the K16S service available at https://ewry.net/k16s/ ("Service"), operated by Immanuel Tikhonov, a sole proprietor registered in the Republic of Armenia ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing the Service or purchasing a pass, you ("User") agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

K16S provides Kubernetes certification readiness assessments and a hands-on exam simulator covering CKA and CKS exam topics. We offer:

  • Free tier: 5 diagnostic questions, overall readiness score, topic gap summary.
  • CKA Pass ($29, one-time): 14 days of unlimited retakes across all 4 CKA mock exams, the full 30-question CKA diagnostic assessment, and the hands-on CKA simulator.
  • CKS Pass ($29, one-time): the same 14-day unlimited-retake access, scoped to the 4 CKS mock exams, the CKS diagnostic assessment, and the hands-on CKS simulator.

CKA and CKS passes are sold and scoped separately — purchasing one does not grant access to the other. Only one exam session (of either certification) may run at a time per account; a second exam cannot be started until the first is terminated or its session otherwise ends.

3. Independence and Trademarks

K16S is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), The Linux Foundation, or Kubernetes. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), and related certification marks are trademarks of The Linux Foundation. "Kubernetes" is a trademark of the Linux Foundation. We reference these marks only to describe which certifications our practice content is aligned to.

All practice tasks, questions, and scenarios on the Service are original and independently authored against the publicly published exam curriculum. We do not reproduce, distribute, or claim to provide actual, leaked, or official exam questions.

4. Purchases and Billing

  • Each pass is a one-time purchase of $29 USD, charged once at checkout — there is no recurring billing and nothing to cancel.
  • A pass grants access for 14 days from the moment of purchase, scoped to the certification (CKA or CKS) purchased, regardless of how much of that access is actually used.
  • Payment is processed by Polar.sh. By purchasing, you also agree to Polar.sh's terms of service.
  • Purchases are non-refundable once made, except as described in our Refund Policy. In particular, an expired 14-day window, an unused pass, or a rescheduled exam date are not grounds for a refund.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; the price in effect at the moment of purchase applies to that purchase.

5. Intellectual Property

All content — including questions, explanations, design, and code — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute assessment questions or content.
  • Share account credentials or pass access with third parties.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent access controls.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, continuously available, or that completing the assessments will result in passing any official certification exam.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the pass giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Armenia.
