Terms of Service

1. Parties

These Terms govern your use of the K8s Exam Prep service available at https://ewry.net/k16s/ ("Service"), operated by Immanuel Tikhonov, a sole proprietor registered in the Republic of Armenia ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or purchasing a subscription, you ("User") agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

K8s Exam Prep provides Kubernetes certification readiness assessments covering CKA and CKS exam topics. We offer two tiers:

  • Free tier: 5 diagnostic questions, overall readiness score, topic gap summary.
  • Pro tier ($20/month): 30-question assessment, per-domain breakdown, detailed explanations, unlimited retakes, new questions added weekly, early access to the hands-on simulator.

3. Independence and Trademarks

K16S is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), The Linux Foundation, or Kubernetes. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), and related certification marks are trademarks of The Linux Foundation. "Kubernetes" is a trademark of the Linux Foundation. We reference these marks only to describe which certifications our practice content is aligned to.

All practice tasks, questions, and scenarios on the Service are original and independently authored against the publicly published exam curriculum. We do not reproduce, distribute, or claim to provide actual, leaked, or official exam questions.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Pro subscriptions are billed at $20 USD per month, charged automatically on each renewal date.
  • Payment is processed by Polar.sh. By purchasing, you also agree to Polar.sh's terms of service.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Polar.sh customer portal. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Intellectual Property

All content — including questions, explanations, design, and code — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute assessment questions or content.
  • Share account credentials or subscription access with third parties.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent access controls.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, continuously available, or that completing the assessments will result in passing any official certification exam.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Armenia.
